The points convert into money. Between runs you can spend it in the garage on a new car or on upgrades to the one you have, such as engine, tyres and suspension. Your garage is stored in the browser, so closing the tab does not wipe it, though clearing site data will.

• Start with a gentle car and a wide corner. Learning to hold one long drift is worth more than a dozen short, messy ones.
• Do not stamp on the handbrake and leave it. Tap it to start the slide, then steer into the slide and feather the throttle to keep it going.
• Upgrade before you buy. A tuned starter car is easier to control than a powerful new one that spins at every touch.
• Link corners where the track allows it. Transitioning straight from one slide into the next keeps the combo alive, and that is where the biggest scores come from.
